SARS Cases In Auckland
IRN
Green Lane Hospital is caring for two suspected SARS cases.
One was admitted on Tuesday and the other last night.
Auckland District Health Board says neither person is chronically sick.
However it says both are in Green Lane's specialist negative pressure rooms.
The board says both are undergoing tests and will be monitored closely.
It stresses the cases are still only suspected rather than probable cases, under the World Health Organisation's definitions.
New Zealand has had one confirmed SARS case so far in this country, although one New Zealander, a missionary, died from the disease in China last month.
